About the company

KMLabs delivers record performance ultrafast fiber, Ti:sapphire, and EUV systems that are designed and engineered for each application. With new investment, KMLabs moved to a new manufacturing facility in Boulder, with state-of-the-art engineering and production. KMLabs is the leader in ultrafast laser and x-ray technologies, having brought the first 10fs lasers and coherent EUV sources to market. KMLabs manufactured the majority of the very high-power >10W average power ultrafast lasers used in leading edge research labs today. We recently introduced a record performance <100fs, µJ, >25W series of Y-Fi fiber lasers, our coherent XUUS source achieved the record spatial resolution imaging at the technologically important 13.5nm wavelength, and we recently demonstrated a direct-diode-pumped Ti:sapphire regen amplifier system. In addition, a robust program of SBIR/STTR-funded research to develop new generations of ultrashort-pulse laser technology. A major thrust in recent years is to take ultrafast laser technology into the field for uses such as precision micromachining and materials modification and characterization.

KMLabs recently raised a $7.2M Series A equity funding round from Intel Capital, the Colorado Impact Fund and Kairos Ventures. For additional company information, please visit: www.KMLabs.com.
