Single-box, 15fs high energy Ti:sapphire lasers – Reaching >30nJ. KMLabs now offers the Cascade with an internally integrated SpectraPhysics Millennia.
KMLabs' Cascade-M and -C cavity-dumped femtosecond, Ti:sapphire lasers are now more turnkey, user-friendly, and professionally-packaged that ever before. Along with the internally integrated 5W, SpectraPhysics pump laser, these lasers also include an internally integrated spectrometer and power monitor, and newly improved motorization of the spectral and temporal control. This single-box system is a compact, 83cm wide x 41cm deep x 14cm high.
Spanning 1kHz to 2MHz, at >30nJ, and sub-15fs, these rugged laser sources have applications in spectroscopy, microscopy, terahertz, OCT, harmonic generation, continuum generation and more. Our compact, user-friendly and economical lasers offer flexibility with simplicity.
Cascade and Cascade-M and -C Features:
15fs to 20fs.
Standard dumping rates: 40kHz, 80kHz, 200kHz, 400kHz, 800kHz, 2MHz – user-selectable in real time.
Option-1kHz dumping rates: 1kHz, 2kHz, 5kHz, 10kHz, 20kHz, 50kHz, 100kHz – user-selectable in real time.
Modelocked operation: 80.5MHz (with dumping electronics disabled.)
Centered at 780nm to 800nm.
>30nJ per pulse when cavity dumped or >3nJ in modelocked operation.
The Cascade can be operated in either the cavity-dumped mode, providing >30nJ at a range of repetition rates up to 2MHz, or the dumping may be electronically disabled, allowing 80.5MHz modelocked operation with >3nJ per pulse.
The Cascade is an excellent source for simple white light generation, achieved via fiber broadening. [click for picture]
